Your website and/or mobile app needs to work for you 24/7. From design, to programming, to copy, and social reach—we do it all. Be sure you are communicating in relevant ways.
Print Design
How your brand looks, feels, and affects your customer counts. Through compelling visuals and strategic execution, we’ll design your printed collateral pieces to turn heads in the marketplace.
Branding
Your brand is your calling card, we take that seriously. If you want to to rise above the visual mania in today’s marketplace, your communication needs digital legs. We can help.
Copywriting
Not a wordsmith? No worries. We tackle and tame the toughest ideas and tell the world what sets you apart and why. Web copy, print/online ads, naming, and campaigns—we’ll make it sing!
We listen to your story then choose the tools we need to tell it well. Then we do the job the way we’d expect it done for us. Yup. That’s about as complicated as it gets. Read our bios to get to know us a little better.
Our Story
Troy and Toni Birdsong moved Birdsong Creative from Los Angeles to Franklin in 2005. Since then, they’ve made their niche as one of the most agile, creative firms in the Nashville-Franklin area. They’ve worked (and continue to work) with large brands such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Gaiam, Virtuoso, and McAfee but put equal creative bandwidth into smaller businesses who possess a fire to communicate well.
Today the Birdsong Creative team has grown to include a team of creatives who are thinkers, programmers, marketers, writers, and graphic designers. From web design to branding campaigns, the collective Birdsong team continues to make its mark in the creative arena.
Both Troy and Toni have served on a number of boards locally including Nashville American Marketing Association (NAMA), The Cool Springs Chamber, The YMCA’s Restore Ministries, and, most recently, The Art Institute of Nashville’s Advisory Board.
Our Goal
We open our doors each day with the goal of increasing our client’s position in the marketplace over all mediums—be it web, social media, print, or the retail arena. We work with large brands, small businesses, entrepreneurs, non-profits, and ministries.
We want what you want: Smart, relevant solutions that move you forward, get results, and expand your amazing contribution to the world.
We treat your business with the same creative care we would treat our own; looking at it from every angle and moving thoughtfully.
We listen. We pay attention to the details. We take quality and our clients’ “happy” level to heart. When you put those values together, we hope you get something refreshing.
Our biggest flaw: we don’t just go the extra mile, we pitch a tent and live there till the job sings—literally!
Our Values
We believe in serving our community and our clients with excellence, integrity, and kindness (yeah, we’re bringing back the “k” word). We believe in giving back, pouring in, and coming alongside. We believe in long-term relationships, not turn-and-burn projects.
We believe in gratitude, generosity, creativity, and mad perseverance, which you will see woven throughout everything we do.
We’ve learned that when you get away from who you are at the core—nothing really works. So, we operate hi-tech in our tools but old school in our business relationships.
We have a board of directors that holds us accountable in life and in business. This faithful Band of Brothers pours into us professionally and spiritually. They are: Rick Cua, Ed Page, Jeff Fleishour, Aaron Kenny, Jason Bradley, Myron Goodwin, Shane Kenny, and Kurt Beasley.
Don’t take it from us. Read what clients are saying about our team and our work »

No, you aren’t imagining things. If you own a Facebook Fan Page, your reach and engagement numbers have dropped dramatically in the past several months. Welcome to the new monetized Facebook model of promoted posts. With all the IPO highs and lows over at Facebook, this move was bound to happen as the company scrambles [...]
1. Keep It Sticky. Teach me something and I’ll stay awhile. Teach me continually and I’ll be sure to come back. Provide me with information (content) that is useful to me personally—not a 24/7 billboard about how awesome you are. I need high-quality content and useful information. From there, our relationship may grow to a [...]
1. Listen & Study. Before you jump in, listen to the texture of the conversation going on. Study other Twitter streams of people you admire. Note the thoughtful mix of useful information, links and original content. 2. Be Kind. Sure, you feel like saying “duh,” several times a day, but try to refrain. Imagine you’ve [...]
